Do you have hundreds of contacts? Does it take you an exorbitant amount of time to scroll through them all to find the person you wish to call? Do you wish there was a better, quicker way to access frequently dialed contacts? If you answered yes to any of these questions than this tip is for you. The Android OS allows you to place multiple direct dial contacts on your home screen and it's simple to do:
1. Long press an open area on your home screen.
2. Choose "Shortcuts" from the menu.
3. Choose "Direct dial" from the next menu.
4. Scroll through your contacts and select the contact you wish to place on your home screen.
Pro tip: If you want to add multiple contacts to your home screen but don't want it to be too cluttered add a folder. Do this by long pressing your home screen and selecting "Folder" from the menu. Drag and drop your newly made direct dial contacts into the folder.
